Metastage and Ntropic teamed up with Xfinity to create an immersive retail experience that offered remote viewers of the Summer 2024 Olympic Games a “Portal to Paris.” After collecting exclusive Team USA trading cards at select Xfinity stores, users scanned QR codes to view the signature moves of Olympic and Paralympic icons like Anna Hall, Noah Lyles, Trevon Jenifer, and more.
Leveraging 3D performance capture allowed the creative teams behind the experience to immortalize the dynamic movement and raw skills of the world’s greatest competitors, delivering a photorealistic, high-octane AR experience to fans across the nation.
Alongside the Xfinity and Ntropic teams, Metastage filmed the athletes on-location at Kirby Studios in El Segundo, joining Xfinity’s multimedia campaign shoot.
